Your holiday in Merano and in the vicinity of Merano
Cycling tour along the Etsch bikepath from Mals to Merano
The „Event Card“ of the Vinschgerbahn makes it possible: a
splendid combination to explore the Vinschgau, one of the most
beautiful valleys of the alpine region, per rail or bicycle.
This enchanting cycling tour takes you 60 km along the Etsch
down to the valley, off the main roads through orchards and
pituresque villages.

Mountain climb up to the Vermoispitze above Latsch in the Vinschgau
Again the Vermoispitze! I had already been up this peak in
August 2006 and decided not to do this long and steep tour
again. But whoever loves the solitude of the mountain is
advised not ot miss this gorgeous observation mountain
north of Latsch.

The Sonnenberger Panoramaweg from Naturns to Partschins
The Sonnenberger Panoramaweg (panoramic path) runs along the
Vinschgauer Sonnenberg between Naturns (554 m) and
Partschins (626 m). From Partschins one gets via the
Mitterhofer Weg, the Algunder Waalweg and the Tappeiner Weg
to Merano.

Beautiful view towards the Vinschgau from Schlandrauner Höhenweg
The Schlandrauner Höhenweg is one of the most
beautiful mountain paths of the Vinschgau, it is almost deserted
in spring. Paths through meadows, rocks and woodland, farms
and ruins as well as a most georgeous view are characteristic
for this hike at the Vinschgauer Sonnnenberg.
