Hotel Meringerhof ***

Location and vicinity

The Hotel Meringerhof is situated beneath the Vigiljoch (Vigil Saddle) in Ried, an area of Algund, between Plaus and Rabland. It is surrounded by orchards and distinguished by its peaceful location on the brink of the forest.

By car it will take approx. 15 minutes to the centre of Meran, on foot approx. 10 - 15 min. to the Rabland stop of the Vinschgerbahn. At the Rabland stop is the valley station of the cable-car to Aschbach and the Vigiljoch.

Immediately next to the hotel runs the cycle-track along the Etsch through the Vinschgau and it continues to Merano and Bozen.

Recreation in the new swimming pool

As per summer 2009 guests will have a swimming pool with whirlpool and a spacious meadow in the garden at their disposal. Here you can relax after a walking tour in the surrounding mountains or an eventful trip in the vicinity of Merano or the Vinschgau, or simply enjoy a day in the sun.
